your dog's personality

...it can't always be captured on an iPhone, where images stay stuck in your phone.

We get so busy, that getting a printed, professional dog portrait becomes low priority.

An important family dog deserves to be remembered by a long-lasting, well-framed masterpiece...to treasure as a beautiful creation in your home forever.

dog portraits of

recognition

Show recognition & appreciation of the role your dog has in your family. Go beyond digital images by reserving a space in your home to display family & dog portraits. Story Dog Photography wall art will help you treasure your dogs’ personality & role in your world even beyond their lifetime.

STYLE

Photography sessions are centered around the style of your home. Every client that books a Custom Portrait Session gets a complimentary style consultation where we can brainstorm, take pictures of your walls, and I can meet your dog.

If you’re not sure if you have enough space for a studio-style session in your home, I can take a look as well and we can plan our session. This style consultation also helps me visualize the style of photography and wall art that would look the best for your home or office, and helps us to create virtual wall art mock-ups for our Design & Ordering Meeting.

investment in

legacy

We believe dogs are family members, too. Your photography session is an investment in the legacy of your dog. Whether you rescued your dog from a pound, or if you own a champion purebred dog...your family dog still deserves to be remembered for years.

Story Dog Photography offers one-of-a-kind Custom Portrait Session Experience of your dog and/or family, at any location in New England that we plan. The Custom Portrait session fee is $250 + CT/MA tax, with photos purchased separately.

You can also find Story Dog Photography at designated locations around New England on a Dog Portrait Day. You can reserve a short, 1/2 hour time slot to capture a basic "headshot" or portrait of your dog.

Your wall art, print+digital collections, and albums are purchased separately in a Design & Ordering Meeting.

a note from the photographer

meet ling

Work gets busy. Family schedules fill up. And one day while you're relaxing on the couch with a glass of wine, your dog tries to catch your attention. Then you notice his white whiskers, and wonder, "where has all the time gone?"
Well, this is me. Even though I've been a professional photographer for a decade, I know that when I'm busy, it's too easy to let memories of my doggies slip by...leading to just images stuck in my iPhone.

My name is Ling, and I'm a professional photographer based out of Northeastern Connecticut, but I have been serving clients all over New England and New York since 2014 with event & portrait photography.

My husband and I own 3 purebred, working Rat Terriers from Warren Mountain, Vermont. They're a huge part of my world, and have inspired me as a dog photographer.
